A 20th century castle, built of granite, to a design by Sir Edward Lutyens. As it sits on a high moorland outcrop, there are fine views over Dartmoor. Being built for a self made man. Julius Drewe, it 's interior is sumptuous, with details like elaborate bathrooms.
Outside there are good walks through the estate, and closer to the house a noteworthy formal garden that the National Trust maintain in good condition
