Two cousins, Jane and Mary Parminter, built this 16 sided house in 1796, after they had done the Grand Tour of Europe. The house now contains many of the original contents and collections that the first owners brought back from Europe with them. There is also a shell encrusted gallery that is so fragile that you can only see it via closed circuit television the National Trust have installed
