How to get to Devon
Devon is simplicity itself to get to.
Via major road. the are really only three ways that you would
enter the county
- via M5 motorway its rough an hour of fast driving from Bristol to Exeter,
where the motorway ends
- Along the North Devon coast via A39 , the scenic road, but allow plenty
of time as it is not a fast road
- Along South coast via A35 or A30/A303
From Cornwall
- the A30 is the main road from Cornwall. A fast dual carriageway, of motorway
standard
- the A38 over the Tamar bridge, is a slower road
There are two airports with good services. Plymouth
and Exeter
